Celebrating On the Hiyu
We had a blast for our summer Wedding Network event on the Hiyu. The Hiyu was the perfect setting for all of us to relax and take in the sun. The summer has been wild and it is spectacular to see some fellow wedding vendors and friends. I am so happy that I had the opportunity to shoot the event, and I look forward to returning for a wedding.
The ferry is not huge by what we are familiar with, but can fit a good sized wedding. I think 250 would be a great size, but they promise up to 350. They are fit and ready to launch into the water. From what Jeff says it is a quiet ride.
A little fact about me, I love ferries. I love taking the ferry to the peninsula or the islands. I can actually escape from the crazy everyday. Usually phone service cuts out and I am able to unplug my brain. Water has always been comforting to me so it is no surprise this is one of my favorite venues to date!
